"Healing does not happen in a vacuum, and the wounds women carry are not personal failings."

Who I Am

I am Cynthia Santiago-Borbón — a healer, transformational coach, psychotherapist, and the founder of Sacred Living. My work is with women ready to free themselves from the systems that taught them to abandon who they are.

I have worked with women for more than twenty-five years — as a psychotherapist, a coach, an initiated priestess, and a woman doing my own becoming alongside them. Everything I have learned in that time about how women actually heal now lives inside Sacred Repatterning™, my signature coaching program for rewiring inherited patterns and reuniting the wisdom of mind, body, and spirit. It is not a technique I picked up. It is the modality that emerged when the clinical, the somatic, the ancestral, and the sacred finally came together in one integrated approach. My work moves clients past survival and into rebuilding — returning women to sovereign, self-led lives that are truly their own.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College. I am certified in Positive Psychology, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Reiki Mastery, and as a Mindful Meditation Teacher. My work and insights have been featured in USA Today, New York Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Woman’s Day, Bustle, Byrdie, NBC, The Bulwark, Squarespace, Columbia University, and the National Association of Social Workers.

I am also an initiated Lucumí Priestess of Obatalá, and I integrate ritual, ancestral wisdom, and spiritually grounded practice into my work when desired by clients. These traditions inform my understanding of healing as relational, systemic, and sacred — rooted in right relationship with self, community, and the Earth.

What I Believe

As a healer, coach, and psychotherapist, my work is supporting women through deep transformation across mind, body, and spirit. And I cannot do that work honestly without naming the systems that have shaped how women see themselves, what they believe they are allowed to want, and what they have been taught to call their own limitation.

So many of the wounds women carry are not personal failings. They are what happens when a woman is raised inside a paradigm — patriarchal, capitalist, colonial, narcissistic in its very design — that has profited from her self-doubt, her smallness, her severance from her own body, and her severance from the sacred.

The paradigm we are contending with is not a separate topic from healing. It is one of the things we are healing from. To ignore it would be to ask women to keep addressing symptoms while the source keeps generating them. My work names the source.

I teach that personal freedom and collective change are inseparable. When one woman frees her mind from the systems that shaped her — patriarchy, hustle culture, the patterns left by narcissistic and toxic relationships — she begins to dismantle them in the world around her. The return to Sacred Living is both the practice and the protest: a refusal to normalize distortion and domination, and a commitment to lives rooted in reverence, truth, and self-sovereignty.

If you have ever felt that your suffering was your fault, that your wanting was too much, or that your power was something to be managed rather than lived — I want you to know that what you were carrying was never yours alone. It was handed to you. And it can be given back.

You are not broken. You have been living inside a distortion. And the return home is possible.
