With over two decades of expertise in the mental health and wellness space, Cynthia Santiago-Borbón, a healer, licensed psychotherapist, transformational coach, spirituality teacher, empath, and Priestess of Obatala, has supported thousands of clients to liberate themselves from societal conditioning and intergenerational trauma so that they can thrive in their lives, in their relationships, and in their careers and business.
Cynthia’s multi-disciplinary spiritual approach as a healer, speaker, strategist, and entrepreneur has always been deeply rooted in liberation, equity, and anti-oppression. She provides numerous services including private coaching, group coaching, workshops, and retreats. Additionally, Cynthia offers equity coaching for clinicians, healers, leaders, wellness practitioners, and business owners that want to decolonize their work and businesses and ensure that they are not replicating harmful, oppressive practices with their clients and in their work.
While Cynthia has formal training and certifications across numerous modalities and disciplines, she credits her powerful and transformative approach to healing, growth, and personal and entrepreneurial development to the wisdom of her African and Indigenous Ancestors and to the Orishas that have guided her journey.
People across ethnicities, industries, and backgrounds turn to Cynthia for her expertise and direction. Her therapeutic techniques and coaching have supported her clients to tap into their unique gifts and strengths so that they are awakened and ignited to make big life changes – embarking on new careers, starting businesses, becoming published authors, and manifesting and marrying their soulmates.
Devoted to the idea that every human being has the right to a great life that is filled with love, joy, fulfillment, and prosperity and spreading her message of optimal wellness for the mind, body, and spirit, Cynthia has been featured in numerous media outlets and organizations including USA Today, New York Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Women's Day, Bustle, Byrdie, NBC, Squarespace, Columbia University, and the NASW.
Cynthia has a Master of Social Work from Fordham University, and a B.A. from Hamilton College and certifications across related fields.
"I’m a fierce advocate for my clients because I believe we all have the right to live our best lives. Having been through bouts of serious depression and anxiety because I was feeling stuck in life, I know how liberating and exciting life becomes when you get clear, eliminate confusion and anxiety, and step into your calling and purpose, as you break through barriers that have been holding you back.
I will teach you how to HEAL from unresolved issues and trauma to ALIGN with your purpose and CREATE what you desire in life, in love, and in business."
