Are You Only Operating at 30%?

Mind, Body, and Spirit Are Three Distinct Technologies — and So Many Are Only Using One

Imagine trying to run your most important work — your healing, your relationships, your life — on a device that’s sitting at 30% battery. No charger in sight. The screen dimming. The apps crashing. The processing slow, unreliable, prone to shutting down without warning.

That’s what it’s like to navigate life from the mind alone.

We were taught — by education, by culture, by centuries of Western rationalism — that the mind is the primary instrument of human experience. Think your way through problems. Reason your way into healing. Understand enough, and you will be free.

But here’s what I’ve come to know after 25 years of sitting with women in transformation: the mind is not the most reliable technology we have. It is, in fact, the faultiest — the one most riddled with bugs, most susceptible to corruption, most likely to run the same broken loop on repeat while convincing you it’s logic.

The good news is we don’t only have one technology available to us.

We have three. And when all three are working together — when mind, body, and spirit are in full integration — we are not running on 30%. We are fully charged. Motivated. Creative. In flow. Able to access levels of clarity, innovation, and aliveness that the mind alone simply cannot manufacture.

The First Technology: The Mind

The mind is extraordinary. It reasons, analyzes, plans, creates language, builds systems, and makes meaning. At its best, it is a magnificent instrument.

But the mind is also the technology most vulnerable to corruption — because it is the one most shaped by external programming. From the moment we are born, our minds are being written by the world around us: by family, by culture, by systems of power that have a vested interest in what we believe about ourselves.

The bugs the mind carries are not character flaws. They are the direct result of that programming. They include:

  • Self-doubt — the internalized voice that questions your worth, your judgment, your right to take up space

  • Confusion — the fog that descends when you’ve been gaslit, conditioned, or kept disconnected from your own knowing

  • Rumination — the mind replaying the same wound, the same fear, the same conversation on an endless loop

  • Limited thinking — the inability to imagine beyond what you’ve been told is possible for someone like you

  • Cognitive distortions — catastrophizing, black-and-white thinking, mind-reading, the brain’s habitual misreading of reality when under stress

  • Internalized oppression — the beliefs about your inferiority, your smallness, your unworthiness that were written into your mind by systems of colonization, patriarchy, and racism before you were old enough to question them

  • Trauma loops — the nervous system’s imprint replaying as thought, keeping the mind locked in a past that the body never fully left

These are not weaknesses. They are the predictable output of a technology that has been running corrupted software for a very long time.

And here is the critical thing: you cannot debug the mind using only the mind. You need the other two technologies.

The Second Technology: The Body

The body is not a vehicle for the mind. It is an intelligence system in its own right — older, more primal, and in many ways more honest than anything the thinking brain can produce.

Your body knew you were in danger before your mind admitted it. Your body knew the relationship was wrong before you had language for why. Your body has been registering truth, storing memory, and sending signals your entire life — and most of us have been trained to override it.

The body processes what the mind cannot hold. Trauma doesn’t live in your story about what happened — it lives in your shoulders, your jaw, your belly, your breath. Healing that reaches only the mind leaves the body’s intelligence untouched — which is why insight alone so rarely produces lasting change.

When we learn to listen to the body — to work with it rather than override it — we access a technology that the mind has no equivalent for: felt truth. The kind that doesn’t require argument or analysis. The kind that simply knows.

This is central to Sacred Repatterning™ — a method informed by hypnotherapy which works at the level of the subconscious mind, identifies where experiences are living in the body, and integrates spiritual healing techniques such as Reiki and past life regression. Sacred Repatterning™ works across all three technologies simultaneously — because real transformation doesn't happen in one layer of the self. It happens when all of them are addressed together.

The Third Technology: The Spirit

We are meant to use all the parts of ourselves. Yes — we need logic and reason. The mind has its role and it is a powerful one. But we are also meant to use our spirits. Those who have completely dismissed their spirit self are limiting their abilities and capabilities in ways they may not even recognize — because you cannot fully access what you have been taught doesn't exist.Spirit is the technology most systematically dismantled by colonization, capitalism, and Western modernity — and it is the one whose absence costs us the most.

When I speak of Spirit, I am not speaking of religion in the institutional sense. I am speaking of our living connection to something larger than the individual self. To the Sacred. To Great Spirit. To the Living Divine Intelligence that holds us even when we have forgotten how to hold ourselves. To our Ancestors, who carry us across time. To the earth, which has always known how to restore what is broken.

Spirit is the technology that provides what neither mind nor body can manufacture alone: meaning, purpose, and the direct experience of being held. It is the technology through which our Ancestors healed — not through analysis, but through ceremony, prayer, ritual, and the felt presence of the Divine.

Our ancestral traditions — whether Lucúmí, shamanic, or the countless other indigenous wisdom ways that colonization tried to erase — were not primitive superstition. They were sophisticated spiritual technologies that worked precisely because they treated human beings as what we actually are: spiritual beings having a human experience, not thinking machines trying to manage their feelings.

When spirit is cut off, we try to fill that absence with more thinking. More analysis. More self-help books and insight and understanding. And still — something remains missing. Because you cannot think your way into felt connection with the sacred. That connection is accessed through a different technology entirely.

What Happens When All Three Run Together

I have watched women transform. Not gradually, not incrementally — but in leaps that surprised even them. And without exception, those leaps happened when all three technologies came online together.

When mind, body, and spirit are in integration, something shifts that cannot be produced by any one of them alone. The fog lifts. The rumination quiets. The self-doubt — not silenced by willpower, but genuinely loosened, as though the root of it finally came free.

What my clients describe when they reach this state:

  • Motivation that doesn’t require force — it arises naturally, from the inside

  • Energy that is sustained rather than depleted — no longer running on fumes

  • A flow state that becomes accessible — creativity and innovation arriving with ease rather than effort

  • Clarity that doesn’t waver — a knowing that comes from the whole self, not just the thinking mind

  • A sense of being held — by the body, by the ancestral field, by something sacred and larger than the self

  • The experience of operating from fullness rather than depletion — a fully charged battery, not one gasping at 30%

This is not a metaphor. This is the lived experience of what becomes possible when we stop trying to heal a whole person with a fraction of the available intelligence.

You were designed to run on all three. The culture, the systems, the centuries of disconnection — they sold you a diminished version of yourself and called it normal.

It was never normal. It was just what happened when the other two technologies were taken from you.

Reflection

Which of your three technologies feels most alive right now — and which one have you been neglecting?

Where in your body do you feel the truth of something before your mind catches up?

When did you last feel fully charged — motivated, creative, in flow? What was present in that moment that isn’t present now?
